Police appeal following theft from motorist in Stourbridge

Police are appealing for information into an incident involving a theft from a car in Stourbridge.

West Midlands Police have asked for help in identifying a person they want to talk to following a theft from a car on Bridgnorth Road, Stourbridge

Shortly before midday on March 27, a woman in her 80s was approached while in her by a person on a bicycle. 

The rider reached inside her car before snatching her bag and making off from the scene. 

Officers are now hoping that members of the public may be able to help in identifying the person who is responsible.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We're looking for any information which might help identify them after a theft from a car in Stourbridge.

"Shortly before midday on 27 March, a woman in her 80s was approached while in her car in Bridgnorth Road by a person on a bicycle.

"The rider reached inside her car and snatched her handbag before making off."
