This year's Pride event in Wolverhampton's Market Square is set to be the best yet as dozens of LGBTQ+ stars are set to take to the stage to show support for their community.
Pride is a day for the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer) community to come together in solidarity and show support for each other in the face of adversity.

Millions upon millions of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies visit villages, towns and cities each and every year to take part in festivals and marches to celebrate their sexuality and stand against adversity.
Wolverhampton Pride 2025 is penned to be unmissable as Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt is set to take to the mic on Saturday, June 7, along with the drag extravaganza, Queenz.

Also appearing on the day is the UK's leading Taylor Swift tribute act, Lauren G, as well as Wolverhampton's very own, Miss Sundi, who is set to return to the stage this year.
The Bilston Operatic Company will also be performing a range of numbers from their latest extravagant musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
Councillor Chris Burden, Wolverhampton Council's cabinet member for city development, jobs and skills, said: "We are so excited to announce the full line-up for Wolverhampton Pride 2025, with headline sponsors Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

"Pop icon Kimberly Wyatt & drag sensations Queenz will be jointly headlining the main stage, followed by a host of other incredible acts to keep everyone entertained throughout the day."
"This year’s event is a true celebration of the LGBT+ community and everyone is welcome to come along to what is set to be a fantastic day. I've already got my ticket, and encourage everyone to do the same."
Tickets for the event are £10 each, with more information available on the Wolverhampton Pride website.
