A drug dealer has been jailed after he was arrested by West Midlands Police Operation Fearless officers in Birmingham.
Kenyjah James, aged 25, was sentenced to four years in prison when appeared at Birmingham Crown Court last Thursday (April 10).
He had pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing Class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin, with intent to supply.
Officers from Operation Fearless caught up with him while they were on patrol on Erdington High Street and responding to reports of a man damaging a gate in a car park on Tuesday, February 25.

James was detained and searched by officers who also searched the car he was driving.
A large quantity of drugs was recovered, alongside two mobile phones.
The drugs were later confirmed as being approximately 190 wraps of cocaine and heroin, with an estimated value of around £2,000.
Fearless officers then carried out a further search of James’s home address on Wilton Road, in Sparkhill, where more suspected Class A and Class B drugs were found and seized.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Addressing community concerns around drug dealing has been a priority for Operation Fearless since it launched in January, and officers are relentlessly targeting those involved in it to bring them to justice.
“Other areas of the West Midlands are set to benefit from the operation’s activity, and you can read more about it here.”
