Residents were advised to avoid the area while fire crews worked at the scene.
West Midlands Fire Service said the blaze involved an approximate ten tonnes of waste in a factory unit and also affected an outdoor loaded bay.
A fire service spokesman added: "Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the blaze. On-site staff, assisted by firefighters moved piles of waste to allow hotspots to be extinguished.
