Police are appealing for information after a man suffered injuries during an attempted robbery in Willenhall.

Police are appealing for information after a man suffered injuries during an attempted robbery in Willenhall.

A man was walking through The Summers, at Willenhall Park, at around 11.30pm on Sunday, March 23, when he was approached by two men.

They demanded he hand over his property before reaching into the man’s pocket.

The man fell to the floor where he was stabbed in the arm and leg with an unknown object.

He wasn't seriously injured and managed to run away towards Stringes Lane.

The men made off in an unknown direction.

The first man was tall and wearing a black mask, covering the bottom part of his face, and wearing all black clothing. 

The second man was shorter with a black beard, wearing a black hoodie with his hood up and dark grey tracksuit bottoms.
