Berriman Eaton, which agreed sales on more than 650 properties during the last calendar year, now has a third of its 30-strong workforce originally having started out as apprentices.

Ben Eaton and Marley Woodcock are the latest recruits and follow a strong tradition of developing individuals in the culture of the business, which is built on trust, professionalism and outstanding customer service.

The approach has seen the company buck the national trend of a stagnating property market, with revenues and lettings projected to be up 10 per cent and 18 per cent respectively in the first three months of 2025.

Andy Roberts, managing director of Berriman Eaton, said: “It’s important that our staff live and breathe the Berriman Eaton way, as well as getting all the necessary training and skills required to understand and work in our sector.

“Apprentices are so important, and we have many of them who have now progressed into senior positions. They have benefitted from being mentored by more experienced staff, including Caroline and Richard Eaton, Linda Davis and Sarah Edwards who have all recently been recognised with the prestigious grade of Fellowship by Propertymark - awarded for their longevity in the industry.

“I have little doubt that this approach is making a real difference to the way we sell and manage properties, from one-bed apartments to family homes and luxury estates worth up to £5m.”

As part of its commitment to supporting the community, Berriman Eaton, which has offices in Tettenhall, Wombourne, Bridgnorth and Worcestershire, has renewed its patronage of the Wolves Foundation for a second year, having raised almost £30,000 for the Foundation in the last 12 months by completing a Snowdon by Sunrise challenge and participating in the big Molineux Abseil.

The firm is also supporting Bilston Operatic Company, Wolverhampton Rotary Club, local football teams, several causes within Pattingham Village and is continuing its long-term, annual commitment to Compton Care.
