Three arrested and drugs seized after Birmingham disorder

Two men and a teenage boy have been arrested after police recovered drugs and weapons from a car in Birmingham.

They were called to reports of disorder involving a group with weapons on Carlton Road, Bordesley Green, yesterday (Sunday) at around 4.30pm.

Armed officers were quickly at the scene and stopped a vehicle.

The vehicle was searched and officers seized a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, a zombie knife, and a machete.

Three people were arrested, and two men aged 18 and 25, are being questioned on suspicion of having a blade in a public place, and suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

A third, a boy aged 17, is being questioned on suspicion of having a blade in a public place, and possession of Class B drugs.
