New drone footage shows how work on a former Brownhills pub which is being turned into a 90 bedroom luxury care home is progressing.

Work on the 90 bedroom care home which is being developed by Macc Care Ltd is well under way on the site of the former Anchor Inn on Chester Road.

It will consist of three-storeys and state of the art equipment and facilities including a cinema.

Planners at Walsall Council approved the development in January,. The company said will create more than the equivalent of 80 full-time jobs and provide an ‘enhanced’ quality of life for residents. It is expected to open later this year

Macc Care already operate 13 homes, including in Great Wyrley, Wolverhampton, Willenhall and Stafford.
