Special event celebrates a year of the work of ground breaking foundation in Wolverhampton

'An Afternoon of Gratitude' on Friday (April 11) saw Susan Vickers and invited guests talk about the work the Susan Vickers Foundation: Caring for the Care Experienced has done in the community. The foundation bills itself as the only organisation for care experienced people by care experienced people in the UK.
In the first year it has delivered training courses for care givers and social workers, care parcels to those in need and representatives have visited schools and community organisations to talk about their work.
The milestone event on Friday afternoon brought together partners, supporters, and community members who have played integral roles in the foundation's inaugural year of service and impact in the Wolverhampton area.
