Police rush to scene after two cars crash in Hednesford

Police have responded to a two-car collision that closed a Hednesford road.

Staffordshire Police officers rushed to the scene of Hill Street, in Hednesford, at around noon on April 11 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles. 

On arrival, emergency services teams discovered the two vehicles which had been involved in the incident, quickly closing the road while recovery teams worked at the scene. 

Officers attended the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service, with both vehicles later being retrieved from the scene.

Staffordshire Police went on to say that 'no serious injuries' were reported. 

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Hill Street in Hednesford at 12pm on Friday (11 April) following reports of a collision involving two cars. 

"Officers went to the scene alongside paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service. Both of the vehicles were recovered at the scene and no serious injuries were reported."

West Midlands Ambulance Service has been approached for further information.
