Hundreds of eager vinyl shoppers lined the doors of Wolverhampton's Vinyl and Vintage, on Cleveland Street, as they prepared to get their hands on exclusive records as part of Record Store Day 2025.
Record Store Day first started in the US in 2007, but soon became popular in the UK, where more than 300 record retailers now take part.

The event gives collectors and music lovers the chance to buy exclusive copies of their favourite LPs, and also grab new presses that are made exclusively for the day.
One of the stores taking part was Vinyl and Vintage in Wolverhampton, which said some customers 'camped overnight' to get the first spot in the line.
Claire Howell, owner of Vinyl and Vintage, said: "It's been fantastic. It's been very busy, but it's been amazing.
"We had around 60 to 70 people already in line before we opened at 8am, the first couple to enter the store had actually camped there since 8pm the day before, so pretty much 24 hours."

Among the most popular releases on offer by Record Store Day were unsurprisingly Taylor Swift's 'Fortnight' and 'Number One Angel' by Charlie XCX.
Claire said: "Well, the first ones to go were the George Harrison records, they were really popular, and John Legend too.
"Then it started with Taylor Swift and Charlie XCX, they went really quickly. The day is definitely appealing to a younger audience."
The record store owner said she is glad to see the day getting more popular, saying that she is happy that people are still coming to grab their favourite records.
She said: "It's been really busy all day so far, It's great. I'm just happy that people are coming to our store and choosing us to get their records.
"We do our best to get everything in. You might not always get everything on Record Store Day, but we make sure to always have something in that you'll want."
