Officers and PCSOs across Wolverhampton have been out 'in force', tackling local neighbourhood crime that plagues the community.
As well as taking criminals off the streets, West Midlands Police officers have also been working alongside local businesses to help deter any would-be criminals.
In one incident in Low Hill, PCSOs have been targeting vehicles that have been left without the correct documentation.
Earlier in the week, the PCSOs seized three vehicles, one of which has been declared SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification).
The efforts by the force follow concerns raised by the Low Hill community about vehicles being abandoned in the area.
In Wolverhampton city centre, the neighbourhood team worked to tackle theft and retail crime affecting the local businesses in the area.
In one incident, officers arrested and charged a 30-year-old man with theft from a person, while another incident saw a 29-year-old man arrested and charged in connection with several shop thefts.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Teams continue to work closely with local businesses to deter criminal activity and identify those responsible for offences.
