Priority booking has finally opened for Lichfield Festival 2025, with this year's line-up featuring a brand-new dance show created exclusively for Lichfield.
The cultural event promises a wide range of talented artists and cultural shows, with this year's headliners featuring former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley, the world-famous Black Dyke Band and renowned jazz singer Jacqui Dankworth.
This year's show runs from July 8 to July 20, with the highlight performance being the brand-new exclusive show Gingerland, which was created by Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones.
Also at this year's event will be a retelling of the tale of the fearsome female pirate Anne Bonney by Tortive Theatre, Congolese dance music from Kasai Masai, a selection of traditional Scottish harp music by Aren Marshalsay, and a comedy cabaret 'Frau, That's What I Call Music'.

Younger audiences will also be able to enjoy a family production of the Winnie-the Pooh's songbook by Waterperry Opera, and also a rendition of The Wizard of Oz.
To top off the fantastic range of events, a free firework show will also be held at Beacon Park on Saturday, July 19, for all to enjoy.

A spokesperson for the festival said: "With a brand-new dance show created exclusively for Lichfield by Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones, and headline acts including The Unthanks and former Spandau Ballet frontman and celebrated solo artist Tony Hadley, Lichfield Festival has pulled out all the stops to make this summer’s event more spectacular than ever."
The events will take place across a number of Lichfield locations, including Lichfield Cathedral, The Hub at St Mary's, St Michael's Church and Beacon Park.

Priority tickets for this year's event open today (April 10), with general ticket booking starting on Thursday, April 24.
