Nathan Cyster, aged 28 and from Hednesford, died at the scene of the collision which occurred on the A5 Watling Street at around 12.40pm on March 29.
It involved a black Suzuki motorcycle and a light grey BMW X5.
An online fundraiser set up by a friend of Mr Cyster's family the day after the crash had raised £10,135 as of Tuesday (April 8) afternoon.

A post to the Go Fund Me page reads: "Nathan was out riding with a friend on their motorbikes on the A5 near Norton Canes when the tragedy happened, leaving his whole family and friends devastated at such a huge loss of a lovely young man.
"I wanted to do this fundraiser to help towards the funeral expenses etc and to help the family at this very sad time.
"God bless you Nathan and fly high with your Dad. Thank you all so much and whatever you can give however small will be very greatly appreciated."
Organiser Linda Taylor posted an update to the fundraising page on April 5 to say she was "overwhelmed" by the generosity of those who had donated.
Bouquets of flowers and notes from loved ones can be seen tied to a lamppost on the A5 in tribute to the groom-to-be.

One message reads: "Life is so cruel you will never be forgotten. Now spread your wings and fly with all the angels in the sky."
In a tribute issued by Staffordshire Police last week, Mr Cyster's family said: "Nathan, a beloved son, brother, uncle and fiancé. He was the light in every single room that he entered.

“He had the ability to always put everyone before himself and was so unapologetically Nathan at all times.
“He always said he would never change for anyone, and for anyone who knew him, that is the last thing they would want.

“He was so immensely loved by many and a stranger to no-one. The hole he has left in this life is bigger than any of us and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.”
Staffordshire Police previously asked witnesses or the collision or people with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Those who can help should contact the force by calling 101 and quoting incident number 347 of March 29, or on email at ciu@staffordshire.police.uk. Information can also be shared with Crimestoppers by phoning 0800 555 111.
