Long Knowle Lane, Wolverhampton, will see the return of its beloved Post Office services after the service was halted in February this year.

The service is now set to return on June 11 after closing due to 'operational reasons'.

The Long Knowle Lane Post Office will re-open under new management at the same location, and will offer customers the chance to access bank accounts, pre-order foreign currency, pay for postage, and collection and return home shopping.

Talking about the reopening, Post Office area change manager, Kulwant Dosanjh, said: "We know how important a Post Office is to a community.

"We are delighted to be re-opening the Long Kowle Lane branch and the long open hours will make it easy to visit."

The reopening comes after another Post Office reopening in Darlaston Road, Pleck, on April 6.

The new store will provide 105 hours of Post Office service per week for the convenience of customers.

The Post Office will re-open to the public on Wednesbury, June 11 at 1pm.
