Drivers have been warned that the A4148 Bescot Road Junction with Wallows Lane is expected to be closed for South Staffordshire Water works until tomorrow and that congestion is expected as a result.
West Midlands Roads tweeted: "A4148 Bescot road junction with Wallows Lane. #WMROADSWalsall Closure on this route Northbound towards Walsall Road for @SthStaffsWater works until tomorrow.
"Expect congestion. Consider other routes in the meantime & allow extra time for your journey."
A spokesperson for South Staffs Water said: "We are carrying out an essential mains repair on Bescot Road.
"Work started at 9pm last night after a one-way road closure was put in place. We anticipate to complete the work by the end of tomorrow."
