Police recover car stolen and sold on cloned plates to an innocent purchaser

Posted on Staffs Road Harm Prevention Team, it said the car was stolen and sold on cloned plates to a innocent purchaser, but had since been recovered. 

According to the Road Harm Team, criminals are taking great efforts to hide the true identity of stolen cars being sold on and have warned locals to make as many checks as they can before committing to a buy.

A spokesperson for the Staffordshire Road Harm Prevention Team said: "Recovered today.  A stolen car, sold on cloned plates to a innocent purchaser.  

"Criminals are taking great efforts to hide the true identity of stolen cars being sold on. Make as many checks as you can before committing to a buy."
