Trams services are disrupted this morning due to overhead line damage near the West Midlands Metro depot in Wednesbury.

The tram operator first reported issues at 4am saying trams would be unable to operate from the start of service.

Its latest update was posted at 5.50am when it stated that trams are unable to operate between Wolverhampton Station and West Bromwich Central.

Five trams are running between West Bromwich Central and Edgbaston Village, though.
