12 shameful Black Country criminals who were jailed in March including international drug dealers

These are some of the most serious, high profile and prolific offenders who were jailed in the third month of 2025.

Killers of a retired school teacher from Cannock

The killers of retired teacher Joan Hill, who was killed in a Cannock when a stolen car smashed into her on New Year's Day 2023.

Aiden Adams, aged 19, of Walsall, was the driver of the Kuga that hit Mrs Hill's s car. The passenger in the Kuga was a 17-year-old boy, from Walsall, who cannot be named for legal reasons because of his age.

Bryan Micklewright, aged 19, of no fixed address, was the driver of the Ford Focus. Another 17-year-old boy, from Walsall, who cannot be legally named because of his age, was his  passenger. 

Adams was jailed for nine years and three months after he previously admitted causing death by dangerous driving, three counts of theft of a motor vehicle, making off without payment, theft of a pedal cycle, attempted theft of a pedal cycle and two counts of theft from the person of another.

International drug dealers from Wolverhampton

After one of the longest sentencings in Wolverhampton Crown Court's history a gang of Black Country drug dealers were sentenced for a massive pharmaceutical operation.

Brian Pitts, 30, and Katie Harlow, 27, ran an international criminal empire from a luxury villa in Thailand but were put behind bars last month. He was jailed for eight years and Barlow, for two years and one month.

Up to 11 million counterfeit pills were produced in sheds and garages across the West Midlands before being sold on the dark web via cryptocurrency payments.

The gang included family members and friends who sold more £4 million worth of fake pills across the UK and USA and laundered the profits through bitcoin.

Pitts, of Bilston, previously admitted conspiracy to supply class C drugs and conspiracy to commit a trademark offence - he was jailed for eight years.

Barlow, who lived with Pitts in a modest three-bedroom semi-detached house, admitted money laundering and was caged for two years and one month. Eight other members of the gang were jailed over a three day sentencing exercise for offences including conspiracy to supply class C drugs.

More drug dealers

Anthony Pitts,  aged 41 of Belmont Close, Tipton, was sentenced to five years and five months after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply class C drugs, conspiracy to commit a trademark offence, and conspiracy to avoid a prohibition on exporting class C drugs. 

Jordan Pitts, aged  aged 26 of Hickman Road, Tipton was jailed for three years after being found guilty of assisting in the commission of an offence.

Scott Tonkinson, aged 36 of Arundel Road, Willenhall, was jailed for four years and six months after admitting conspiracy to commit a trademark offence, conspiracy to supply class C drugs and evading prohibition/restriction on exporting class C drugs.

Deborah Bellingham, aged 58, of Windsor Road, Tipton, was jailed for four years and eleven months after admitting  to conspiracy to supply class C drugs and conspiracy to commit a trademark offence.  

Bladen Roper,  aged 25 of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, was jailed for three years and three months. He has also been given a driving ban for 21 years and six months after being found guilty of assisting in the commission of an offence.

Two vicious robbers were jailed for over ten years for car jacking a vehicle at knifepoint.

Talbot, aged 23 and of Featherstone, was jailed for six years, while Maskery Hurd, aged 19 and of Abbey Hulton, Stoke-on-Trent, was sentenced to four years in prison.

Dylan Maskery Hurd and Callum Talbot were riding on a moped on September 11 last year when they spotted a man getting out of a Volkswagen Golf R on Brooke Road in Wombourne, near Wolverhampton.

One of them armed with a knife, they launched an attack on the victim after demanding his car keys and took them from his pocket.

Robbers stole high value jewellery in Sandwell and Birmingham

Three men were jailed for more than 45 years for carrying out a series of robberies across the Sandwell and Birmingham during which they stole high value jewellery.

Kayne Davis, Kayne Roulston and Michael Jones committed the robberies between April and August in 2023.

During their robbery spree, they stole more than £100k worth of jewellery by threatening their victims with violence.

Davis, of no fixed address, admitted to conspiracy to commit robbery, wounding and an attempted robbery and was sentenced to 19 years and three months in prison.

Jones, from Green Meadow Road, Birmingham, admitted to counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery, wounding and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Roulston, from Daisy Road, Birmingham pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced to nine years in prison.
