Tram disruption: Metro services running from 9am to 9pm only due to maintenance works - full details
Tram passengers are being warned of disruption on West Midland Metro services today (Sunday April 6) due to maintenance works

Trams are only running between 9am and 9pm today in preparation for maintenance works.
Transport for West Midlands said these works are due to be carried out on the 13th to 14th of April at Priestfield and The Crescent tram stops
West Midlands Metro tram tickets are being accepted on NX West Midlands buses on the 79 and 74 routes.
Here’s the full schedule of disruption:
Sunday 6 April: From the start of service until 9am:• Trams will not operate.• The first tram will leave Wolverhampton Station and Edgbaston Village at 9am• The first tram will leave Wednesbury Parkway towards Edgbaston Village at 08:17• The first tram will leave Wednesbury Parkway towards Wolverhampton Station at 08:38
From 9am until 9pm:• Trams will operate up to every 12 minutes between Wolverhampton Station and Edgbaston Village.
After 9pm:• Trams will not operate.• The last tram will leave Wolverhampton Station and Edgbaston Village at 8pm• The last tram will leave Edgbaston Village and Wolverhampton Station to Wednesbury Parkway only at 9pm
Before 9am and after 9pm, Metro tickets and passes will be accepted on the following alternative transport options:
National Express bus services:
• 79 between Wolverhampton and West Bromwich• 74 between West Bromwich and Birmingham• All services between Colmore Row and Edgbaston
A normal service will resume from the start of service on Monday 7 April.
Sunday 13 April: Trams will operate up to every 12 minutes, between Wednesbury Parkway and Edgbaston Village only• There will be no service between Wednesbury Parkway and Wolverhampton Station
Monday 14 April: Trams will operate up to every 8 minutes, between Wednesbury Parkway and Edgbaston Village only• There will be no service between Wednesbury Parkway and Wolverhampton Station
On these days, Metro tickets and passes will be accepted on the following alternative transport:
• National Express bus service 79 between Wednesbury Bus Station and Wolverhampton• The timetable for this service has been enhanced to connect with the first and last trams.
A normal service will resume from start of service on Tuesday 15 April.
Park and Ride
• There will be reduced capacity at the Priestfield Park and Ride throughout April.• Roadworks are taking place in the Priestfield and The Crescent area, please allow extra time for your journey if travelling by car.
