Man dies after three car accident in Birmingham

Police are appealing for information after a man died in a three car accident in Birmingham in the early hours of Sunday morning

They were called to Small Heath Highway, Birmingham, at around 12.45am following a collision involving three vehicles.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a man aged 27, was treated at the scene but despite the best efforts of ambulance crews, he died.

Three people were taken to hospital to be assessed for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses and for anyone who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage, from around the area to come forward.
