Phoenix Collegiate school in West Bromwich has transformed into Lego-fans paradise this weekend for the return of the two-day event.
The fun got underway on Saturday (April 5) as attendees of all ages were invited through the doors, some greeted by Star Wars characters such as Chewbacca and a Stormtrooper on their way in.

Around 90 exhibitors from around the world are expected to attend the event across the weekend, displaying their impressive Lego creations.

There is also games to play, Lego on sale and a 'Brick-Pit' where people can put their own creativity to the test and choose from thousands of building-blocks.

And it is all in aid of a good cause, as the event helps to raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital and the Lego charity Fairy Bricks.

Last year, it saw more than £13,600 raised, with the total divided between the two charities.

Co-founded Paul Clark runs the brick show alongside Darren Hallbury.
Speaking to the Express & Star ahead of the event, Mr Clark said: "I'm a big Lego fan myself, first of all, but this is also a nice community event in the area which helps inspire kids and also raises funds for charities, so it's a way of putting on something positive.

"It's grown from an event with 400 people on a Sunday afternoon in 2018 to more than £1,500 people a day over the course of the weekend and it's become a chance for a lot of master builders from across the UK and Europe to come to the Black Country and put on displays."

Tickets starting at £7 per person are still available to buy for the brick show on Sunday, which will run until 4pm. For more information, visit the Eventbrite website.
