Appeal launched after more than 2,000 oxygen cannisters stolen from Cannock

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after more than 2,000 canisters were stolen in Cannock.

Staffordshire Police officers were called to the scene of Watling Street Business Park, Cannock, on Saturday, February 22, and Saturday, March 8, to reports that a 'group of men' were on the site. 

The group were spotted loading medical oxygen cylinders onto a flatbed truck before driving away from the site. 

A total of 2,424 cylinders were stolen across both incidents, with Staffordshire Police now appealing for information into the theft.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after more than 2,000 oxygen cylinders were stolen from an industrial estate in Cannock.

"We were called to Watling Street Business Park on Saturday, February 22, and Saturday, March 8, after a group of men were seen loading medical oxygen cylinders onto a flat-bed truck before driving away."
