'It will not be replaced' - Official closing date of Morrisons Daily and Post Office in Pheasey announced
The Post Office located inside Morrisons Daily in Great Barr has issued an apology following the announcement that the store and postal service will soon be closing their doors.

Locals spoke of their dismay as the news broke last week that their handy Morrisons Daily is one of the stores that is set to close as part of the nationwide cuts.
It comes as supermarket giant Morrisons announced plans to shut 52 in-store cafes, 18 market kitchens, 17 convenience stores, 13 florists, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters and four pharmacies, putting more than 300 jobs at risk.
Bosses claim it is costing more to run the services than they are making.
The Queslett Road branch also houses a Post Office that residents depend on to collect and send parcels and use bank account services.
There was some speculation as to whether the Post Office would remain, but a spokesperson has confirmed that the store will be closing next Wednesday and will not be replaced.
The Morrisons Daily store will be closing on April 16.
A Post Office spokesperson apologised for the late announcement in a statement, which read: "We have been informed by Morrisons that they have made the difficult decision to close the Morrisons Daily store where Pheasey Post Office is located. The store is due to close on 16 April and Pheasey Post Office will close on 9 April at 5.30pm. We apologise for the short notification.
“We fully recognise the inconvenience this will cause for our customers. There are nearby branches at Kingstanding and Queslett Road.
“When a Post Office branch closes, Post Office undertake a review of the network to ensure that it continues to meet evolving customer needs in a very challenging economic climate. This review examined the network at a very detailed, local level, analysing customer demand and accessibility of Post Office services. Consequently, we are not looking to replace Pheasey Post Office at this time."
