Man, 19, jailed after advertising drugs as popular 'Harry Potter' character Dobby
A man has been jailed after advertising drugs on social media under a username inspired by a popular Harry Potter character.

Lewis Breen-Ledger, aged 19, from Halesowen, operated under the online username 'Dobby's Packs' on Instagram and Snapchat, selling a range of Class A and Class B drugs.
The West Midlands Police County Lines Taskforce launched an investigation into Breen-Ledger after they discovered 'Dobby' was advertising a menu of different drugs.

The user offered 24/7 collections and well as postal deliveries for further locations.
On May 2024, officers executed a search warrant at Breen-Ledger's address in Halesowen, Dudley, quickly seizing hundreds of pounds of cash, cocaine, cannabis, ketamine, scales and three zombie knives.
Officers also recovered a rubber mask and figurine in the style of Dobby from Harry Potter.

Breen-Ledger was arrested and then released on bail with strict conditions while officers continued further enquiries as part of their investigation.
However, Breen-Ledger then rebranded his social media account, now instead operating under the name 'Highland Exotics', and once again started dealing.
Officers carried out a second search warrant at his address, this time seizing a mobile phone and cannabis. He was later arrested again.

Breen-Ledger admitted all drug offences at an earlier hearing and was sentenced on Thursday, March 27, at Birmingham Crown Court.
He was also sentenced for two unrelated driving offences, including:
Causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a woman in her 60s was hit by a vehicle while riding her bicycle on Narrow Lane, Halesowen on 19 October 2022.
Causing serious injury by careless driving after a man in his 50s was crossing Dudley Road in Rowley Regis when he was hit by a vehicle.
In total, Breen-Ledger of Willowsbrook Road, Halesowen, was sentenced to four and half years in prison.
Detective Sergeant Adam Buzzard, from the county lines taskforce, said: "Our investigation discovered Breen-Ledger had been supplying class A and class B drugs since he was 16 years old.
“He showed a brazen disregard for the law, maintaining his drug dealing whilst on police bail.
“We will continue to pursue criminals harming our communities through drug supply and they will be brought to justice.”
