Delays of up to an hour on M6 between Walsall and Wednesbury due to broken down vehicle
Motorists on the M6 near Walsall are being caught up in delays due to traffic coming to a halt after a car broke down.

National Highways said the breakdown happened in lane four on the southbound carriageway, between junctions 10 and nine, this morning and travellers will be delayed for 30 minutes.
The agency posted on X: "Traffic is stopped on the #M6 southbound between J10 and J9 near #Walsall due to a broken down vehicle in lane four. Traffic Officers are on scene. There are 30 min delays above normal journey time."
They later posted just after 7.20am that the vehicle had been moved but there were delays of up to an hour.
