The tree landed into the gardens of two properties on Radford Lane in Lower Penn on December 7 as the region battled strong winds during Storm Darragh (December 2024).

It fell from the grounds of the The Old Wulfrunians Sports and Social Club, which is owned by the Old Wulfrunians Association Limited.

In February, the club said it would be looking to "finalise discussions" with its insurer and make arrangements to remove the tree "as soon as possible".
