Staffordshire Police detain terror suspect over alleged race hate offence
A terror suspect has been arrested over allegations of supporting a banned group and stirring up racial hatred.

Staffordshire Police said in a short statement issued on Wednesday: “Police have today arrested a 28-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of terrorism offences.
“The man was detained following a pre-planned and intelligence-led operation.
“He was arrested on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation and inciting racial hatred.”
No further details were given of the location of the arrest or the group the man is alleged to have supported.
