Muhammed Ali, aged 20, has been jailed for an offence of violent disorder which happened in Bordesley Green, on August 5 last year during which a Skoda vehicle window was smashed up.
Following the incident West Midlands Police appealed to the public for help to identify him. As a result Ali, of Yardley Green Road, has now been jailed for two years and six months.

Chief Superintendent Richard North, of Birmingham Police, said: "This sentence shows that we do not tolerate violence in our towns and cities.
"We would like to thank members of the public for sharing our appeal which was crucial to identify the offender."
