Hibiscus Domiciliary Care Agency, a provider of home care services has been assessed by the body, the independent regulator of health and social care services in England.
In November 2022, the care agency was rated 'inadequate' after an inspection.
Inspectors found there were limited or no risk assessments in place and limited or no details in people's care plans about risks to people's safety.
But this time around, the CQC praised the service for its dedication to safety, effectiveness, and responsiveness, as well as for its compassionate and respectful approach to supporting clients' independence.

Keith Rawlings, the CEO of Hibiscus said: "This achievement represents a significant milestone for Hibiscus and is especially meaningful in light of the service’s journey of continuous improvement.
"After feedback from previous inspections, the team worked tirelessly to address areas for development, implementing comprehensive action plans to enhance service delivery, staff training, and communication”.
The CQC acknowledged these efforts in their evaluation, acknowledging the service’s responsiveness to challenges and its determination to exceed expectations.
Mr Rawlings continued: “It is a testament to the hard work, empathy, and professionalism of our amazing staff team who go above and beyond every day to ensure that thepeople we care for feel safe, valued, and supported in living life to the fullest."
