Police seize uninsured cars after crackdown in Cannock

Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team have been in the Cannock area today targeting the so called Fatal Four offences.

As part of Operation Lightning, officers were looking out for drink and drug driving offences; speeding, using a mobile phone while driving and not wearing a seatbelt.

Whilst on patrol they also seized these two uninsured cars.

Other members of the team were out on patrol on bikes in the Stafford area and stopped a Volkswagen car which had three young children in not properly fastened in and no MOT. The driver was reported for the offences.
