Highway works are underway on Linthouse Lane in Wolverhampton today.
The road is closed between Springhill Rad and Kitchel Lane from 9.30am to 3.30pm, National West Midlands has announced.
The bus operator is diverting its number 69 service to Walsall which will run to Ridge Lane, Linthouse Lane, Wood End Road, Lichfield Road, Linthouse Lane, Griffithis Drive.
The service running from Walsall to Wolverhampton will operate along a route which is the reverse of the above, NX West Midlands said.
No other details about what the highway works have been provided.
