Delays after car fire on hard shoulder of M6 between Wolverhampton and Cannock
A lane was closed on the M6 north between Gailey Island and the Saredon interchange due to a car fire on the hard shoulder.

Fire crews and officers from Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team attended the incident, between junction 11a and 12 at around 7pm tonight (Tuesday).
On X, Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team posted: "We are currently at a car fire on the M6 north between junction 11a and 12 along with @StaffsFire. Please abide by the Red X’s for the safety of the emergency services working in the carriageway and to avoid prosecution."
