Harrison Jones, a Year 8 pupil at Summerhill School in Lodge Lane, spent a week giving up his break and lunch times, for a total of an hour each day to race around the school grounds dressed as an alien.
The 12-year-old is naturally sporty and plays football and rugby but also enjoys running.

Through donations from friends in his Pegasus house at school, parents, family and well wishers as well as a web-page where people could donate reached a grand total of over £2,000 by Friday (March 28), with the total expected to rise in the next few days.
The money will go to Young Minds which provides mental health support nationwide but also operates a hub in the Dudley area, with the school having partly adopted the organisation as a charity partner.

Harrison's mum Deborah said: "He has done so well in giving up his spare time at school and beating the targets he set for himself.
"There is no reason behind why he dressed up as an alien, that is just the inflatable costume he chose - but he and all of us would like to thank those who supported him and donated."
Harrison has been running at breaktimes and lunchtimes during Pegasus House's charity week, and has exceeded his 25km target having now run 45km.
Harrison and Pegasus House are raising money for @youngmindsuk, a charity supporting thousands of young people’s mental health.
The team at the UK's leading mental health charity for young people said: "Good luck Harrison, we are all behind you."
