A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Oldbury.

West Midlands Police said it discovered a woman with serious injuries at an address in Swan Crescent at around 8.20am on Monday (March 31).
The woman, aged in her 40s, was confirmed dead at the scene.
A 50-year-old man, who the force said is understood to be known to the woman, has been arrested and remains in police custody for questioning.
In a statement on Monday afternoon, a West Midlands Police spokesperson added: "A scene remains in place while we carry out enquiries in the area to help us establish the full circumstances.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it was called to an incident at a private address on Swan Crescent at 8.23am.
A spokesman said: "Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a Medical Emergency Response Intervention Team trauma doctor attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene."
