Burntwood ale house planning to change weekend opening hours
The brewery operator of a Burntwood ale house is applying for permission to amend its opening hours.

Joules Brewery wants to change opening times at the Miners Rest in Highfields Road in Chasetown, Burntwood, to 9am seven days a week.
The premises currently has a licence to serve alcohol from 8am on weekends and wants to amend this to 9am.
Deadline for representations is April 17 and comments should be made in writing to: Licensing Department, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield, WS13 6YU; or by phoning 01543 308000 or by email to licensing@lichfielddc.gov.uk
The notice also states: "It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited."
