It was a bright and happy occasion with the prosecco flowing as sons and daughters celebrated their mums' special day.
The country house hotel in Tettenhall Wood hosted a Mother's Day special all weekend, which included a high tea on Saturday and a roast dinner on Sunday - the special ladies were wined and dined whilst enjoying some live music in the hotel's Great Hall.
Emma Parkes and her mother Joy Hewitt came from Seisdon to enjoy some cakes and sandwiches in the pretty venue.
They both particularly enjoyed the white chocolate and rhubarb mousse.
Joy had been ready for her special treat ever since Emma revealed the surprise.
