Man charged with shoplifting offences after visiting Lye shop repeatedly
A man has been charged with more than a dozen shop theft offences in Lye.

Jak Rock, aged 34 from Lye has been charged with 18 counts of theft from a shop. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.

This comes after hundreds of pounds worth of items were stolen from a store on Belmont Road, Lye during March.
The store has been repeatedly targeted, and on some occasions more than once in a day.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Shop theft is blight on our communities and causes misery to business owners and customers. Theft can cause huge financial losses and affect livelihoods. This will not be tolerated.
