Man arrested on attempted murder after woman found injured in Smethwick
An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found with head injuries in Smethwick.

Police were called to St Paul's Road at just after 1.30am on Tuesday
A woman in her 50s was found with serious injuries, not believed to be life-threatening, and she remains in a stable condition in hospital.
The man was arrested on Tuesday morning.
Jonan Walker, aged 18 from Smethwick, has now been charged with attempted murder and was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Thursday)
