Man arrested in Birmingham as part of police crackdown
A man has been arrested in Birmingham for using his phone whilst driving as West Midlands Police's Proactive Crime Team continue to crackdown on offenders.

Officers from the Operation Skybridge team arrested a man in Heathfield Road, Lozells, yesterday (March 26) afternoon after he was seen using his phone whilst driving.
After the vehicle was stopped, the 31-year-old man was found to be wanted on suspicion of assault, and also had no drivers licence or insurance.

He was arrested on suspicion of assault, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and for obstructing a police officer.
The 31-year-old's vehicle was also seized and he has since been bailed with strict conditions.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: " Operation Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime."
