After over a month of hearing evidence in a trial, which was longer than normal because of special arrangements for the teenage defendant, the jury is now behind closed doors reaching a verdict.

Judge Amanda Tipples gave the jury directions on how to reach a verdict after imposing strict restrictions on the trial.

As usual the media cannot name the child defendant but the adult in his 40s charged with assisting an offender cannot be named either.
