Smiling faces and community spirit flowed through the streets of Eccleshall as thousands gathered for the Spring Festival 2025.
The festival was held on the same weekend that the Staffordshire town was named one of the best places to live in the Midlands by the Sunday Times.
The festival, held in the High Street, brought together local businesses, families, and visitors for a day filled with entertainment, music, and fun.
From live performances to fantastic displays and delicious food, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The event hosted by Vibe1 local radio station highlights included excellent folk performances from The Horn Dance of Abbots Bromley and Morris dancing from Stafford Morris and Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris Dancers, with live music from local acts including Ashley & Loggerheads Community Choir, the talented Stacy & Andy duo, and Alfie and Fin, buskers from Stafford Music School.
Lorraine Conkey, Event Organiser said: “The turnout for the Eccleshall Spring Festival was brilliant, and I am so delighted that so many people came on board and joined in to celebrate spring.
“It was fantastic to see the community come together and enjoy such a wonderful day. A special thank you to the businesses, volunteers, and all who supported us. We’re already looking forward to the Eccleshall Festival in June and can’t wait to bring the community together again for another fantastic event!”
Attendees also enjoyed craft workshops in Holy Trinity Church, free face painting, a bouncy castle, a children’s treasure hunt with tickets donated by Stafford Gatehouse for their Sleeping Beauty panto, and an adult scavenger hunt organised by the local pubs. In addition, there was a variety of market stalls showcasing local traders and artisans.

A special thank you was sent to the local shops and pubs for their continued support and involvement in making the festival such a success. Their participation helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who attended, organisers said.
They added: “We would also like to express our gratitude to Eccleshall Parish Council and Stafford Borough Council for their support, which helped make this event possible.”
