M&S stated:“We’re opening a small outlet in Boundary to bring more of our clothing and home ranges to customers.”

The chain is making a return to the site after moving out 10 years ago with the loss of 21 jobs. At the time bosses blamed stock management pressures for the decision.

Three years later the company shut down its Park Street branch after almost 100 years trading in the town centre to the dismay of shoppers. Under-performance was blamed for that decision.

Boundary based in Lancashire threw open its doors in Walsall 22 years ago tot eh delight of shoppers who come from far and wide to pick up designer labels at bargain prices.
