A couple have admitted running an international prostitution ring from the Black Country for over five years.

Luigi Cucu, 46, and Costela Soare, 36, were due to stand trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court in June for human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
However, the Romanian couple, both of Topsham Road, Smethwick, appeared in court on Tuesday (March 18) and pleaded guilty to two counts of controlling prostitution for gain.
The charges were "between between January 1, 2018, and March 30, 2023, in Dudley, intentionally controlled activities other persons in relation to their prostitution in any part of the world for or in expectation of gain for yourself."
The pair only spoke to say "guilty" to both charges.
