'Large amount' of cannabis seized by police in Wolverhampton

Posting the policing win on social media earlier today (March 19), the Force said it seized the 'large amount' of cannabis plants in the afternoon, in Wolverhampton. 

Images posted show endless rows of hanging plants as well as bin bags filled with the drug, while enquiries remain 'ongoing'.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "The team has executed a drugs warrant this afternoon. A large amount of cannabis plants have been seized.  Enquiries ongoing."

Express & Star has approached West Midlands Police for comment.
