Appeal launched after customer assaulted in Oldbury store

An appeal has been launched after a man was punched in the face in a story in Oldbury.

West Midlands Police have launched the appeal and released an image of a man it said it wants to speak to following the incident at a store on Rood End Road in Oldbury on January 12.

It happened at around 9.30pm and saw a man in his 20s punched in the face.

The force has asked for anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Do you know this man? We want to speak to him after a customer was assaulted in a store on Rood End Road, Oldbury at around 9.30pm on January 12.

"The victim, a man in his 20s, was punched to the face. If you recognise the person in the image then please contact us via Live Chat on our website or call 101 quoting 20/111350/25."
