Police looking for person responsible for pushing out window of bus in Birmingham

An appeal for help finding the person responsible for damaging a bus in Birmingham has been launched.

West Midlands Police has released an image of a man it said it wanted to speak to following the incident in Saltley on February 9.

It saw a window on the top deck of the number 94 bus pushed out on Gate Street and saw the bus taken out of service and repaired.

The force has asked for anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Recognise this person? We’d like to speak to them after a bus was damaged in Birmingham.

"A window on the top deck of the number 94 bus was pushed out, meaning the bus had to be taken out of service and repaired.

"It happened while the bus was on Gate Street in Saltley, on the evening of Sunday 9 February. Anyone with information should contact us using Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, quoting 20/140900/25."
