Appeal launched for witnesses to fatal crash near Kidderminster
An appeal has been launched to find witnesses to a crash in Blakedown which left a man in his 60s dead.

West Mercia Police has launched the appeal following the collision on Tuesday night on the A456 in Blakedown, near Kidderminster, which saw a grey Audi A1 collide with a silver WV Golf.
The collision saw the driver of the Audi pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the Golf, a man in his 70s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
The force has asked for anyone who saw the collision or has footage from the time to get in touch as soon as possible.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died following a collision yesterday.

"The collision happened around 9pm on the A456 in Blakedown when a grey Audi A1 collided with a silver VW Golf. The driver of the Audi, a man in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"A man in his 70s who was driving the Golf was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries. Officers would like to speak to anybody who may have seen the collision or from anybody who has dash cam footage from around the time it happened.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found the driver of the first car, a man, in a critical condition.
“He was receiving good CPR from fire service colleagues before ambulance staff immediately took over to administer advanced life support. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
“The driver of the second car, a man, was treated by medics for serious injuries and was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with MERIT travelling on board to continue treatment en route.
“A third patient, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital. A second woman was assessed and taken to the same hospital for further checks.”
