Police launch appeal after teen, 17, stabbed at Birmingham bus stop

Police have launched an appeal for information after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed at a bus stop in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police officers want to speak to two people after a boy was stabbed on Lodge Road, Birmingham, on February 15, at around 7.30pm.

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was waiting for the number 101 bus at a stop opposite Norton Street, Birmingham when a black VW Polo pulled up nearby. 

The occupants began to chase the victim, who fell into the entrance of the number 101 bus.

The boy was then attacked while he was on the floor, receiving knife wounds to his arms.

Appealing for information, detective constable, Jo-Anne Hindmarsh, from Bournville CID, said: "We know this is a concerning incident and we are working hard to bring offenders to justice.

"As part of our investigation, we would like to identify the two people in the images as we believe they may have vital information."
