South Staffordshire Council has announced the launch of the South Staffordshire Good Food and Drink Guide, a comprehensive showcase of the region’s food and drink scene.
Designed to enhance the tourism experience, the guide highlights a diverse selection of venues, offering businesses an opportunity to promote their unique dining experiences to a wider audience.
The initiative was delivered by Staffordshire-based design agency Outlands Creative and funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
The guide looks at the different types of food and drink on offer in the area and highlights the best places for people to go to.
A spokesman for South Staffordshire Council said: "Enjoy inviting tearooms and independent coffee spots, where expertly brewed coffee, homemade cakes, and traditional afternoon teas create the perfect setting to unwind.

"From hearty British classics to global flavours, the district offers an eclectic mix of restaurants serving everything from Sunday roasts to authentic Italian pasta and exotic Asian cuisine.
"Many establishments offer child-friendly menus and spacious settings, making dining out a relaxed experience for all ages.
"Whether you prefer a cozy pub atmosphere or scenic countryside views, South Staffordshire’s pubs serve up craft ales, fine wines, and delicious meals in welcoming surroundings.
"From casual eateries to fine dining experiences, South Staffordshire is a food lover’s paradise. Discover the rich culinary delights waiting to be explored."
Councillor Mark Evans, cabinet member for Planning and Enterprise Services, said: "South Staffordshire’s food and drink sector is a vital part of our local economy, supporting businesses, creating jobs, and enhancing our visitor experience.
"The South Staffordshire Good Food and Drink Guide is a fantastic initiative, designed to showcase the very best of our culinary scene and highlight the unique venues that make our district a must-visit destination."
